Position Objective:
Provide daily administrative and organizational functions of the stock room, receive incoming material shipments and place in proper bin locations, inventory control activities to ensure the flow of materials to and from the production areas, which include picking material, issuing material in Epicor & delivering to proper production location. Perform production and purchasing expediting where materials are short. In addition to inventory duties will also facilitate the movement of trucks and trailers to and from outside vendors and within Aries parameters.

Job Requirements and Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in cycle counting program, using Epicor, to preclude the need for annual physical inventories.
- Load materials in specific bins, boxes, containers as appropriate.
- Count or weigh parts to check quantity accuracy.
- Perform transactions in the inventory control system to enter new quantities and remove quantities from stock as consumed.
- Issue materials to departments within the organization upon request; transacting inventory quantities to reflect transfer of materials.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, boxes, crates or other containers.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with other employees, management and common carrier personnel.
- Records and checks quantity of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications.
- May inspect, accept or reject goods received.
- Perform domestic and international shipping activities.
- Contact common carriers to schedule pick-ups.
- Utilize Epicor accurately to ensure data and transactional integrity.
- Communicates and coordinates with purchasing any returns, rejections and credits.
- Submits proper documents and notification to accounts payable.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies/adjust errors.
- Ensure received materials are placed in the proper bin locations.
- Ensure returned materials have proper documentation and are returned to the proper location.
- Perform transactions in the inventory control system to enter new quantities and remove quantities from stock
- Prints and distributes pick lists and job travelers.
- Reviews stock levels and advises Purchasing or Production Supervisor, as appropriate, to preclude shortages.
- Verify inventory accuracy and/or perform Quantity adjustments to improve accuracy.
- Creating/maintaining inventory warehouse and bin stock locations.
- Perform all job duties following 5S/LEAN Manufacturing requirements and according to all safety and health policies.
- Valid driver's license
- Great oral communication with clients, dealers, or customers.
- Proficiency with pulling tow behind trailers, and the connecting and disconnecting of trailer to tow vehicles.
- Proficiency operating up to a 3-ton box truck chassis. (i.e. Ford F750, F650)
Required Skills:
- Able to prepare reports.
- Able to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Able to utilize computers and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP systems.
- Able to drive forklift truck and use hand trucks.
Required Experience and Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 5 years of applicable experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented, able to concentrate for long periods of time.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Approachable, pleasant demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; walk, bend, climb stairs frequently carrying product, balance, stoop, twist, reach, lift, crawl, kneel or crouch.
- Work environment is office and office/shop combination.
