Position Summary
Stockroom clerk primary role is to maintain inventory, distribute and work in a manufacturing environment. Stockroom clerk must be on their feet and have a general aptitude for counting and inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing, organizing and tracking all materials in the stockroom.
- Reviews documents such as production schedules, work orders, material requirements and material priorities.
- Communicates with department supervisors and other personnel to discuss progress and needed changes.
- Record production data, including volume produced consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
- Maintain inventory of material and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
- Distributes production schedules and work orders to departments.
- Compiles information, such as production progress, material inventory, material used, and customer information, so that status reports can be completed.
Education/ Qualifications
- High School or GED Preferred
- Computer knowledge is required for Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
- Fluent in reading and communicating in English
- Minimum of one-year experience in stocking, shipping or related field
Physical Demands:
- Physically capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements.
- Employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must show prove of eligibility to work in the United States
