Holy Family Hospice and Home Health Care is seeking a FT Purchase Assistant / Stock Room.
Job Description
- 1.Stock Room Management:**
- - Maintain and organize Stock rooms in two different buildings.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming stock.
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels and replenish items as needed. Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
- 2. **Purchasing Assistance:**
- - Collaborate with various departments to understand Purchasing needs.
- - Research and identify suppliers, negotiate prices, and place orders.
- - Track and manage orders to ensure timely delivery.
- - Work within budget constraints and seek cost-effective solutions.
- 3. **Travel Between Buildings:**
- - Efficiently travel between the two buildings to fulfill both stocking and Purchasing requirements.
- - Coordinate with relevant staff to address immediate needs.
- **Qualifications:**
- 1. **1 year of experience
- Organizational Skills:**
- - Ability to efficiently organize and manage Stock rooms.
- - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in inventory management.
- 2. **Communication Skills:**
- - Excellent communication skills for interacting with suppliers, colleagues, and other departments.
- 3. **Adaptability:**
- - Capacity to adapt to the dynamic needs of both Stock room management and Purchasing tasks.
- - Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- 4. **Tech Savvy:**
- - Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic knowledge of procurement software.
- **1 year of Experience:**
- While experience in stocking or purchasing is beneficial, we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
