Job Overview
Prepare and distribute required documents for the Supply warehouse function. Must be able to perform primary tasks for the assigned applicable section such as supply warehouse, mobility/IEU, receiving, inspections, document control, and demand processing/customer service and CEMAS warehouse.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Purchases, receives, stores, and issues materials and merchandise. Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
- Uses a computer to order parts and materials from known vendors.
- Verifies that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents.
- Ensures shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles.
- Prepares and keeps records of goods shipped. Verifies that incoming shipments are correct by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records.
- Checks for damaged goods.
- Ensures that goods are appropriately identified for routing. Prepares and keeps records for goods received.
- Receives and issues required materials and parts for work crew.
- Prepare reports of discrepancy when required.
- Conducts Inventories
- Knowledge of warehouse activities on reviewing on-hand balances/replenish, deliver, and bin applicable items.
- Operates warehouse forklifts to load and unload vehicles.
- Perform data entry activities and updates government data bases.
- Explain turn-in procedures, explain to generating activities scrap segregation practices, receive excess, surplus, non-salable material, and other authorized turn-ins from generating activities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Two years' similar experience.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings.
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of office equipment.
- Class C Texas driver's license.
- Forklift certified and light truck driver experience.
- Certified in storage, handling, packaging, and shipment of HAZMAT in accordance with dangerous good regulations for surface and air shipments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
- Supply Chain Management Automated Data Systems (ADS) systems.
- M-9 weapon qualification as required for applicable section.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more when required.
- General knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) equipment.
- Required to properly wear personal protective equipment when necessary.
- Team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to maintain a National Agency Check (NACI).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
