Physical Requirements:Standing for long periods of time.
Shift:Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, day shift.
Job Summary:The Dental Hygienist will provide periodontal therapies (Scaling and Root Planning, placement of subgingival antimicrobials) and periodontal maintenance. Provides SRPs and takes radiographs per provider’s approval. Administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia. Provide periodontal, hard, and soft tissue assessments. Provide oral hygiene instruction. Provide chart documentation. Manage patient recall system.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:Attention to detail, customer service, communication, good judgment, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and dependability.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :No
Preferred Education/Experience:Licensed Dental Hygienist with pediatric experience preferred.
