Basic Details and Description:

Full-time Registered Dental Hygienist position

Monday – Thursday 8 AM – 5 PM, one Saturday per month (preferred to be available but optional)

Perennial Dental: Private practice of Dr. William Newman, ULSD Class of 2016, located at 3801 Bardstown Road in the Buechel area of Louisville, just outside the Highlands neighborhood. Office uses Eaglesoft practice management software

Pay and Benefits: $40-42 / hr

Retirement plan with employer matching

Two weeks paid vacation (Three Weeks after employed for one year)

Work alongside another experienced hygienist

The ideal candidate would be comfortable diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, including through the use of scaling and root planing procedures, and administering local anesthesia to accompany these periodontal treatments. Our office also provides laser periodontal therapy. While already being certified and comfortable with this treatment would be preferred, it is not essential. Our office would gladly financially support you on your journey to becoming certified and comfortable performing this procedure in the event that you are not currently.

Our private owned dental practice is seeking talented individuals like you to join our dynamic team and help us create healthy, beautiful smiles every day. We are located in the Buechel area of Louisville, just outside of the Highlands. Our office has been established for many years, so we are proud to have multiple generations of families call our practice home for many years. In January 2022, Dr. Will Newman took over the practice, making changes to update the look and feel of the practice, as well as the office equipment and technology, while still honoring what has always made the practice special. In this way, the office has a great modern feel while still having a long established team that is well organized and thinks of our patients as family. In May 2023, the office was renamed to Perennial Dental, which was chosen to reflect the theme of patients perennially returning to the practice, as well as our commitment to be perennially available and up-to-date as healthcare providers. The name was also chosen to evoke a theme of nature, and to bring a calm and caring environment that can often times be a scary setting for patients.
