What is the Opportunity?

The Statements Senior Product Manager is responsible for managing a broad range of statement solutions in an Agile environment, helping to define the prioritization and delivery of solutions to support client reconciliation processes. In addition to delivering the common market solutions, the candidate will also leverage the latest core banking infrastructure to design and deliver market disrupting solutions to enhance the customer experience and meet the ever-growing demand for real-time data.

The right candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to work with a myriad of cross-functional teams, excellent listening skills and be goal oriented in a fast-moving environment focused on the client experience. The right candidate should be able to look at client experience from an end-end perspective and focus on delivering an experience that is Simple, Transparent, Actionable and Real-time.

The US Cash Management USCM) Business is a unique opportunity to build the cash management business of the future from the ground up. This is an exciting time to join a start-up function within RBC, built from scratch and anchored in a technical/digital play vs. a traditional play, enabling RBC to compete with new entrants in this space! What will you do?

  • Execute on the vision and strategy for statement solutions to support the USCM business and customer reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with other product and technology partners to prioritize and drive solutions to market.
  • Adhere to industry standard specifications (ISO 20022, BAI, etc.) to integrate with the target solutions.
  • Work directly with internal sales partners and external clients to understand their needs to help mold the best-in-class solutions to support client account reconciliation.
  • Stakeholder in defining the strategic roadmap for statement products and capabilities.
  • Partner in designing the operational processes to support customer inquiries related to client account reconciliation, client onboarding of statement solutions, and new to market solutions geared to attracting transaction heavy customers.
  • Responsible for delivering the statement generating platform, repository, and solutions to support corporate, government, and financial institution customers.
  • Define and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Review test plans to ensure thorough validations and sign-off on test completion related to statement product solutions.
  • Work closely with channel partners to ensure SWIFT and H2H capabilities can be leveraged to deliver statements suite of solutions.
  • Review solutions with senior management, compliance, and legal teams.
  • Works with internal partners to set priority, detail solutions, and review with stakeholders.
  • Define internal product communications.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Experience in a corporate banking environment and ability to determine how other products and services impact client reconciliation solutions.
  • General knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, BAI and other industry standard solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables based on Agile methodology to meet timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills ranging from high-level to detailed perspectives.
  • Keep up to date in the marketplace on emerging trends and how it could impact reconcilement product solutions.
  • Keep a keen focus on the client experience to deliver best-in-market solutions.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $150,000 - $200,,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
