Shade Productions is Seeking Stage Managers for the 2024 Season.
Duties
As a Stage Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of theater productions to ensure seamless performances. Your duties will include:
- Overseeing rehearsals and performances to ensure they run smoothly
- Communicating with directors, cast, and crew to coordinate schedules and logistics
- Managing backstage activities during performances
- Ensuring props, sets, and costumes are in place for each scene
- Solving any issues that may arise during rehearsals or performances
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong background in theater production
- Ability to educate and instruct cast and crew members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in public speaking to address the cast and crew effectively
- Knowledge of circus arts is a plus but not necessary

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
