Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator/Central Supply. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing staffing needs effectively and maintaining an adequate supply of essential items. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including managing call-ins, time-off requests, and scheduling changes.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, including tracking overtime hours and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
- Work closely with department managers to address staffing needs and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff members.
- Manage the central supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies in accordance with budgetary constraints.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to staffing and supply management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in staffing coordination or central supply management in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to staffing and supply management in healthcare facilities.
