Job Summary:
The Staffing Coordinator will work with management in all aspects of recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new hires for a company with 35 employees. Candidates for this position must have organization and prioritization skills and work well with others. The selected candidate must be fast to adapt and apply the skills necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities assigned. Discretion and proper management and safeguard of confidential information is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Hire & On-boarding:
- Recruiting and interviewing
- On-boarding/ Off-boarding
Personnel Files:
- Assist HR manager with maintenance of personnel files and records
Administrative:
- Attendance
- Leave requests
- Upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory
- Assist with evaluations
Basic Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook as well as other software
- Detail Oriented
- Demonstrated ability to self-audit for very high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, computer, data communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidential and privacy safeguards
- Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Degree preferred but not required, combination of education and experience acceptable
