We have a terrific position available for an innovative, inspired problem solver to develop high quality software for iOS devices. As a member of our iOS engineering team, you will have the opportunity to bring new experiences to millions of listeners across Pandora, SiriusXM, and Stitcher across the Apple ecosystem. What you'll do:

You will get the chance to take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. We hold ourselves to high standards and take pride in our work. You will work in a modern iOS development environment, using recent technologies like SwiftUI, async/await, Combine, Codable, and SPM.

What you'll need:

• 8+ years of native iOS development

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Swift

• Expert knowledge of developing, testing, and debugging mobile applications using Swift and Objective-C

• Experience with SwiftUI, async/await, Combine, Codable, and SPM

• Familiarity with emerging iOS development trends and design patterns

• Strong skills with object-oriented and reactive design

• Strong understanding of engineering software processes, lifecycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing.

• Experience providing streaming media direct to consumers

• Experience optimizing network service stacks for increased performance (reduced load times, battery drain, etc.), for all connection levels

• Strong knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming techniques on Apple platforms

• Strong ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks and deliver code that meets performance budgets and goals

• Strong comprehension of high availability, multi-tier, mission critical and fault-tolerant system design

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor other engineers

• Ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under shifting deadlines

• Dedication to thorough testing and creating high quality software

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $101,000 to $180,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply
