The State Water Resources Control Board is seeking an experienced and strategic media and communications professional to join its Office of Public Affairs and direct the agency’s media engagement.
The State Water Resources Control Board has an opening for a Staff Services Manager II (Supervisory), Media Relations Manager in its Communications Office, Office of Public Affairs. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 24th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.
Duties:
The Staff Services Manager II (Supervisory), Media Relations Manager, manages the Office of Public Affairs, plans, organizes and monitors the Water Board’s media relations efforts and acts as the lead advisor to the State Water Board and the nine Regional Water Quality Control Boards on all matters related to the media.
