STAFF PHARMACISTS

We are currently seeking experienced Pharmacists for immediate Full-Time Overnight opportunities.
DUTIES
As an inpatient Staff Pharmacist, you will responsible for a challenging and wide range of duties including:
- Interpreting and evaluating physician orders to prepare, calculate, and dispense medication dosage forms.
- Regularly communicating with multiple prescribers and nursing personnel to clarify and modify orders.
- Documenting intervention activities.
- Preparing, labeling, and dispensing medication for all hospital areas.
- Entering and processing medication orders in the computerized system to ensure appropriate drug distribution.
- Reviewing, maintaining, and screening medication profiles for allergies, interactions, and therapeutic duplication.
- Advising prescribers, nurses, and patients regarding medication contents, therapeutic actions, utilization, and possible adverse reactions and interactions of drugs.
- Compounding and dispensing Parenteral Admixtures.
- Directly supervising and overseeing pharmacy technicians and interns.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors of Science Degree from an accredited college
- PharmD preferred
- Currently licensed and registered as a Pharmacist in the State of New York.
- Previous hospital experience preferred

Pay: $64.23 - $72.49 per hour
