Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Orlando, FL.
-In this exciting role the Engineer will have the opportunity to support conceptual and detail of advanced hardware through the full product life cycle via dynamics and Structural Analysis.
--The engineer will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with individuals from complementary disciplines within the Engineering, Manufacturing and Sub-Contracts organizations.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to apply research to the planning, development, and testing of new aerospace and related products.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to work with little direction and develop advanced technical principles, techniques and concepts.
-The ideal candidate will be proficient in dynamic/Structural Analysis, finite element analysis, structural/vibration testing, and test correlation. -The ideal candidate will have knowledge of related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and HyperMesh.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to communicate technical status and issues to internal and external program and functional leadership.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and to keep up-to-date on related industry best practices and technological advancements.
