Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Geology.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Ability to understand and read construction plans and specifications that are applicable to the inspection duties and requirements.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
- Willing to travel to project locations throughout California, but primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding counties.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Registered as an EIT (Engineer in Training) or GIT (Geologist in Training).
- Academic focus on soil mechanics/geotechnical engineering.
- 0 to 5 years of experience.
- Nuclear gauge safety certification.
- Nuclear density gauge experience.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
- ACI certification.
- ICC soils certification.

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
