Job Description
Responsibilities:
Works on projects related to Underground Tank Inspection, Phase I & II Environmental Site Inspections, and use of Geoprobe Drill Rig.
- Conducts fieldwork (Phase I & II ESA), sample collection, sample delivery, document sampling procedures.
- Receives and reviews analytical data, assembles tables, figures (with assistance from staff GIS and Technicians).
- Prepares conclusions and recommendations in written and verbal form.
- Reviews technical field staff reports/work products for accuracy and grammar.
- Works with Environmental Technicians for project completion.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or applicable degree program.
- Professional Geologist (PG) certification in PA preferred.
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in Geology, Environmental Remediation projects.
- Job requires the ability to navigate over rough terrain, urban, rural and industrial sites.
- Must have a valid driver’s and safe driving record.
- Must also be able to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer, operating a computer keyboard and general office equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of DEP and other compliance
- Solid knowledge of general environmental health and safety standards
- Completion of OSHA HAZWOPER training
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license
