Mission Critical is an international practice for Burns & McDonnell involving exciting, collaborative work across many departments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project team leadership and coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation
- Lead and produce accurate technical and contract documentation for project construction
- Lead and participate in construction administration, bid review and support, site visits, address technical issues, and improve quality during construction
- Work with government and regulatory agencies to achieve overall project schedule and objectives
- Manage resources to produce 3D software renderings and critical presentations
- Bachelor Degree in Architecture from an accredited program and 4 years of architectural experience or Master Degree in Architecture and 3 years of architectural experience required. Consulting experience preferred.
- Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
- Strong knowledge in standard architectural techniques and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong computer skills (e.g. BIM (Revit), Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering programs).
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
