Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Cut/fill balance grading design in AutoCAD Civil 3D and prepare design package.
  • Provides drafting support and performs drafting assignments for different projects.
  • Assists in planning drafting jobs and preparing drawing lists and coordinates job with professionals, detailers, and checkers.
  • Performs drawing checks to confirm accuracy and acceptability guided by company and/or client drafting standards/specifications, engineering computations, and sketches.
  • Coordinates the drawing files creation and deliverables of the project with the project lead professional.
  • Design, Design Coordination, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Delivery, coordination, Services during construction.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Technical or high school degree
  • 5 years’ experience
  • Working knowledge of standard engineering software required: AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • REVIT knowledge is a plus
  • Civil Site Drawings preparation
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Ability to design in AutoCAD Civil 3D design package
  • High level of proficiency with cut/fill balance grading design in Civil 3D.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Knowledge in local and national codes and standards
  • Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and projects
