What You Will Do as a Staff Accountant
As a Staff Accountant with our Corporate Accounting Team, you will support corporate accounting for Workwear Outfitters domestic and international businesses heavily weighted toward analysis and account reconciliations. This will include Cash transactions, reconciliations, and other month-end close tasks. The Staff Accountant has a good working knowledge of account reconciliations including banking transactions.
How You Will Make a Difference:
• Own monthly journal entries for certain general ledger accounts
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
• Work with Treasury team to post transactions recording movement of cash and cash receipts/payments
• Follow company policies regarding safeguarding of company assets, internal controls and provide feedback to improve the policies.
• Prepare requested analysis and reporting on certain balance sheet accounts for balance sheet reviews, year-end or ad hoc reporting
• Documentation and maintenance of job processes.
Skills for Success
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in accounting roles
• A self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and take ownership of work
• Ability to work well within a self-directed, team-based environment
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Must possess the highest degree of integrity and ethical values.
