Staff Accountant
Our Staff Accountant performs the day to day duties of the Accounting Department including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, profit analysis, and the general ledger.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Completes and posts manual and EDI billing for customer accounts.
- Processes weekly payroll for Hourly associates, including updating information on garnishments, 401k deductions, reimbursements, etc.
- Works with CFO to plan short and long term company cash position through accurate projection of receivables.
- Completes monthly journal entries to the General Ledger.

Essential Qualifications
- Five (5) years of previous accounting and payroll experience required
- Computer literacy/experience required. Must be proficient in Windows environments. Working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications.
- Effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting or related discipline preferred
- Experience with ADP system
