Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients, including recording daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, payroll, tax preparation and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in public accounting or financial services
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero)
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with tax preparation and/or audits is a plus
