We will count on you to:
- Working with and mentoring Staff Accountant I team members
- General ledger account reconciliations, variance research and adjusting journal entries as needed
- Assist with timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close and financial statement delivery
- Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of internal and external accounting and operating policies, procedures and process improvements for general accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX procedures, tax regulations, local GAAP and US GAAP and local statutory regulations (as applicable) regarding financial matters.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline strongly preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be deadline driven; able to meet inflexible month-end and quarterly targets
What makes you stand out?
- Prior GL account reconciliation experience strongly preferred
- Prior financial statement preparation experience
- Experience using Oracle
- Proven ability to manage various stakeholder relationships
