We are seeking an experienced results-driven individual to join our team as an Accountant I to deliver exceptional results across a broad array of accounting activities. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant I will ensure that the Company's accounting transactions are recorded completely and accurately. This position will ensure that account balances and activities can be substantiated to all stakeholders.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant I will ensure that the Company's accounting transactions are recorded completely and accurately. This position will ensure that account balances and activities can be substantiated to all stakeholders. The accountant will apply accounting principles in working with specialized accounting records and reports and will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and in preparing basic financial reports.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts, review reconciliations, and make sure that all outstanding items are cleared.
• Prepare journal entries and other adjustments to correct errors.
• Understand and comply with corporate business and accounting policies and processes.
• Assist in the Company's annual audit/review processes.
• Find ways to simplify, automate, or eliminate assigned work to help make company operations scalable.Assist with other necessary tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management is required
• One to three years of professional accounting experience is required
• A graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, MBA, or CPA, may be considered an equivalent of one year of this experience
• Advanced technical skill with NetSuite or similar ERP is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
• Smart, creative, driven, able to work outside the box
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve successfully
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Passionate for data, with knowledge in database query or programming, preferred
• Experience as an Accountant In a public company a plus
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Hybrid schedule, must be able to work in-office 3 days a week.
