\uD83C\uDFAF Responsibilities that Await You:
- Assist in all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
- Prepare all necessary journal entries, including daily revenue postings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and implement effective financial control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare monthly work paper reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and all state and local sales tax returns.
- Assist in the accounting tracking and timing of property capital projects.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during annual financial audits and examinations.
- AP invoice coding and vendor account setup
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to automate routine tasks.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and incorporate relevant updates into existing processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and other special projects.
- Serve as a key resource for internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing financial insights.

- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proven experience and five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software with advanced Excel functions is required.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
