Staff Accountant

Job Description

Wonder Porcelain, a multi-nation porcelain manufacturer originated in China, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Staff Accountant, which is a versatile role in our finance team. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and a passion to become a well-rounded accounting professional.

Responsibilities • Process invoices for payment, ensuring thorough documentation and required approvals. • Enter invoices and manage suppliers' payments within the ERP system. • Prepare and distribute customer invoices and statements promptly. • Engage in standard collection activities, collaborating with both customers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies. • Address audit requests and respond to tax return-related inquiries. • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements with attention to detail and accuracy. • Contribute to the preparation of financial analysis reports to support decision-making. • Undertake ad hoc tasks as needed to support the finance team.

Qualifications • bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Fluency in both English and Mandarin – written and spoken. • Proficient in ERP system and Excel preferred. • Accounts receivables/collection experience is preferred. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines as necessary. • Ability to work well in a diverse team and develop a strong rapport with colleagues of different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
