JOB PROFILE
The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role on the finance team, contributing to the success of our growing business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive “can do” attitude, high energy, and a “team spirit” approach.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the Director of Finance in carrying out departmental accounting/reporting functions.
- Assist the Director of Finance with month/quarter/year-end closing.
- Assist CRYOGENE management team with the preparation of monthly client revenue reports.
- Accounts Payable: Manage the timely and accurate processing of vendor Invoices and payments.
- Accounts Receivable: Ensure efficient billing processes and the timely collection of receivables.
- Assist with Financial Forecasting & Analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Actively participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare bank deposits
- Upload and reconcile company Credit Card statements and allocate expenses.
- Administrate Purchase Orders
- Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger
- Assist with the processing and distribution of year-end 1099s.
- Support the Finance Team with special projects and development/implementation of new procedures to enhance workflow improvements for the company.
- Make recommendations and assist in improving procedures.

- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-LOOKUP, etc.)

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 year accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of NetSuite a plus
COMPENSATION: $55K annually
