Accountant Intern

What You'll Do:
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with Intercompany journals, Interco accruals, and ensuring a full reconciliation between all information provided by the stakeholder teams and the accounting system (SAP). You will be learning and assisting with the accounting for all Intercompany related subjects in your dedicated scope.
This role evolves in a SOX compliant environment. You will be learning and assisting with the delivery of SOX controls in a timely manner and with the expected level of quality.
Your role will require you to work closely with the Field Finance, FP&A and Corporate Tax teams in different countries, with whom you will ensure a good working relationship.
You will assist with requests, pre-qualified by the front desk and delivered in a pre-defined deadline in conjunction with the front desk. You will also assist with monthly analysis respecting the need for presenting data to our stakeholders.
As a Junior Accountant, you will learn to organize your tasks in a proactive manner, ensuring that collaboration with other departments is fully mobilized and meeting the deadlines. You will be part of a team working for other countries, and have to be able to support and be the backup for.
Finally as a Junior Accountant, you will be under the guidance of the Intercompany Manager. You will be involved in discussions about various topics and contribute to the brainstorming of ideas to enhance our processes. Your suggestions will be valued and could be prioritized for implementation.
Your tasks will include:
* Assisting with computation and supervision of the manual intercompany recharge
* Assisting with control of Intercompany entries by rising and analyzing BI
* Assisting with sanity check on Intercompany and associated items
* Active participation in projects
* Follow up the issues raised to IIT department
* Regular feedback with manager
Month end closing:
* Assisting with review and recording of all Intercompany journals
* Assisting with recording of all accounting entries relating to catch-up, specific entries,
* Assisting with full reconciliation and documentation of both Balance Sheet and P&L positions related to Intercompany
* Assisting with preparation of SOX controls
* Assisting with analysis and understanding of all major variances in reinvoicing with consistency table
