LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Hayward, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 4 years of general accounting experience with a specific strength in reconciliations. The major portion of the job will include bank reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and being comfortable assisting with payable and receivable, as well as other duties and adhoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications for the job include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits and general accounting
- Construction industry experience is preferred
- Software experience with Quickbooks Desktop is required
- Team player, comfortable to work independently, and pleasant
- Reliable, dedicated, and meets deadlines
- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
- Solid communications (written & verbal)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Intermediate, Word & Outlook)
Experience: 4 or more years of experience in Accounting (Staff Accountant, Accountant, Full Charge Bookkeeper)

Pay Details: $32.00 to $37.00 per hour
