Staff Accountant
Reports to: Finance Controller

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical in supporting our financial operations and contributing to our overall success. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller,
playing a key role in billing, financial reporting, collections, payroll, and accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Financial Controller to support various financial initiatives and strategies.
- Billing: Manage and oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making.
- Collections: Handle collections efficiently, maintaining positive relationships with clients while ensuring timely payments.
- Accounts Receivable (A/R): Manage accounts receivable and collections processes, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding balances for optimal financial management.
- Payroll: Administer payroll processes including timekeeping, calculating wages, and disbursing payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Accounts Payable (A/P) Processes: Oversee and manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and vendor communication.
- Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards, maintaining accuracy in all financial transactions and records.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other related duties and ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS/CaaS or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
Work Environment: This job operates in a remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. The team member is expected to provide their own computer equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and core hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT. This position may require some weekend work and work outside of core hours for client needs and meetings.
Travel: Abilibility to Travel for executive meetings.
