Staff Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who possesses a desire to progress and impress. Our Accountant must exhibit exceptional organization, prioritization and execution skills along with strong financial acumen. Our best candidate will be capable of maintaining financial procedures and conformance to best accounting practices. An experienced person with a desire to grow will fit perfectly into this role.

Responsibilities:

• Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance

• Prepare and file tax returns

• Enter accounting related information into business logs

• Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy

• Organize and update financial records

• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue

• Perform monthly bank settlements

• Prepare documentation for external auditors

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

• Timely reporting

• Accurate reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete assignments within deadlines

• Ability to multitask

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• 1-4 years accounting experience

• Experience with QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online preferred)

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

• Knowledge of General Accounting, Financial reporting, and GAAP concepts

• General Ledger Accounting experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
