Sr. Web Developer

Job Summary
The Sr. Web Developer's focus will be for design, implementation, and maintenance of existing and new software requirements to meet the needs of internal and external clients. The Developer will work with the team and clients under supervision of a team leader to understand requirements, develop specifications, test and write software applications. The Sr. Developer is owner of the implementation of at least one critical application, or at least three major features. This includes acting as decision maker for these applications' system and database architectures, facilitating or actively participating in stakeholder discussions, and thoroughly understanding related SHI business processes.
The Sr. Web Developer will report to the Development Manager of eCommerce.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:

• Review and analyze business needs and specifications to determine programming requirements for new and existing software projects
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology
• Maintain existing software programs; make approved changes by developing detailed programming logic and coding changes
• Analyze performance of programs and act to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users
• Write and maintain documentation for software projects
• Provide training for developed software
• Develop and implement test plans for new projects, and maintenance of existing projects
• Maintain confidentiality regarding the information processed, stored or accessed
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference
• Adapt to evolving technologies and processes
• Act as decision maker for an applications' system and database architectures
• Facilitate or actively participate in stakeholder discussions
• Thoroughly understand related SHI business processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years professional programming experience
• Experience with object-oriented design and writing reusable code
• Experience with C#, ASP.Net
• Experience with multi-tier architectures
• Experience with HTML and JavaScript experience using HTML5
• Experience with writing RESTful APIs
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and IIS
• Experience using source control, especially GIT
• Experience with relational databases, especially SQL Server
• Completed Bachelor's degree in an IT field, or equivalent working experience

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience with Linux
• Experience with nginx
• Experience with PowerShell and Bash
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment, such as tools like Jenkins
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap and jquery

Additional Information

• The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
