Is this position a contract or full-time? This is a full-time, salaried remote development position with a competitive compensation/benefits package (including profit sharing and productivity bonus plans). MUST reside in the US. No C2C.

What you bring to your new team

Requirements:

1. Ability and desire to work in all aspects of application delivery including requirements, architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
2. Expert level knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript with at least 7 years of experience in architecting, designing, and developing modern web applications using Next.js/React/Angular/JavaScript
3. Must have 5+ years of experience consuming RESTful/GraphQL web services
4. Must have 2+ years of experience building RESTful/GraphQL web services
5. Strong knowledge of and 5+ years of experience styling modern web applications using Tailwind CSS/MUI/Bootstrap, and building responsive layouts
6. Experience building and delivering cloud native apps on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Vercel or Netlify
7. Experience with OAuth, OpenID, JWT
8. Experience with Relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Fauna, DynamoDB)
9. Experience building and delivering marketing websites and logged-in user experiences
10. Experience working with a Content Management System/Digital Experience Platform
11. Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, iconography & limitations of the web
12. Strong ability to troubleshoot and debug complex coding scenarios/defects across the entire stack
13. Experience in mentoring more junior developers in coding best practices
14. Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with clients and fellow team members

How you add even MORE value

Nice To Have:

• Working experience with Headless CMS platforms like Contentful, Sanity, Strapi
• Working experience with Java and/or .NET for front-end/back-end development
• Ability to develop Web UI that conforms to visual designs delivered via Figma, Adobe XD, and other visual design tools
• Knowledge of Jamstack, SSG, SSR

Responsibilities:

1. Front-end development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and other UI technologies/frameworks (such as React, Next.js, Angular, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) for enterprise clients
2. Develop a clean and elegant code base with high attention to detail that includes edge case error handling and a robust level of completeness
3. Identify, recommend, and integrate common open-source plugin libraries that can be used to meet requirements when it’s easier/faster/more-robust than reinventing the wheel
4. Create an appropriate/minimal amount of documentation for coding implementations such that other team members can easily understand what you built/intend to build
5. Write code that is readable, digestible, and follows best practices that avoid “Bad Smells In Code” such as extraneously long functions, poor naming of functions/variables, etc.
6. Backend development of appropriate RESTful web services to be consumed by React/Angular/Vue that others (or sometimes even yourself) may develop
7. Come up with appropriate solution architectures for real-world client problems and gain buy-in from tech leads/architects
8. Translate wireframes into visually appealing, professional-looking applications with a high standard for coding best practices

Bottom line: We are an Agile shop that expects all of our employees to perform with minimal supervision. We are looking for self-starters with strong time management skills, an understanding of Agile principles and an ability to problem-solve quickly.
