Position Summary
This role is required to be onsite at our Patterson, CA, Distribution Center.
As the Logistics Administrative Coordinator, you will assist in the administration of Human Resources duties such as payroll, HRIS, recruiting, employee orientation, benefits, employee welfare and recognition programs, and other CVS programs that are designed to promote sound employee relations.
You will be in charge of training documentation and supporting the New Hire/Cross-Functional training needs. You will also assist with Engagement Activities and other Ad-Hoc requests as well as maintaining compliance with various governmental and/or Corporate requirements and/or regulations.
Your other responsibilities as the Logistics Administrative Coordinator:
- Compliance, including Training Associates on compliance
- Audits/Board Updates - Various audits in different departments and updates LOS boards on weekly basis
- PRIDE Cards/Data Collection - Supporting Supervisors in issuing Pride Cards and helping Supervisors in data collection efforts related to an OE Project and other miscellaneous tasks

Required Qualifications
-Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources, Recruiting and/or Administrative experience
-Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience demonstrating a working knowledge of employment law, specifically in the areas of employee
- 1+ years of Human Resources, Recruiting and/or Administrative experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively, to think through employee issues and move to resolution tactfully and in a timely manner
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees individually, as well as the ability to present information to large groups of employees
- Excellent written, verbal, and strong interpersonal skills are highly preferred
- Strict attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
- Experience in a Union environment
- Experience within a mid to large sized distribution center
- Experience using an automated HRIS system, i.e. PeopleSoft, strongly preferred.
- Ability to relocate is strongly desired for upward mobility
- Spanish/Bilingual speaking is a plus
