The Role
As a Senior UI Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining and leading the direction of our front-end architecture, ensuring we deliver innovative and user-centric experiences across all our products. You will partner with other architects and technology leaders to develop principles and standards that will guide all application development on the AspenTech platform. Additionally, you will mentor and provide technical leadership, ensuring front-end best practices and a high standard of quality across projects. Your Impact
- Define and lead the vision for the frontend architecture.
- Develop and implement a robust, scalable, and maintainable frontend architecture.
- Establish best practices and coding standards for the frontend team.
- Advocate for the adoption of new technologies and frameworks based on sound technical evaluation.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering their growth and development.
- Share knowledge and expertise through internal presentations, workshops, and documentation.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging frontend technologies and trends.
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Proven track record of leading and defining successful frontend architecture for complex web applications.
- In-depth knowledge of modern front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.), and web performance optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and accessibility guidelines
- Ability to mentor and coach junior developers
- Passion for innovation and staying up to date with the latest trends in frontend development.
- Experience with building reusable UI components and design systems.
- Experience with server-side rendering frameworks.
- Experience with building cross-platform mobile applications is a plus.
- Experience with containerization and cloud services is a plus.
- Experience with micro-front-end architecture is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
