Who we are looking for
We are seeking a passionate Technical Product Manager for Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to join our client's North America Technical Product Management team that designs and builds our client's warehouse control capabilities for our world class supply chain. As a Technical Product Manager for Warehouse Control Systems, you will own the design and value delivery of new warehouse control capabilities enabling our client's growth in multiple dimensions.
What you will work on
If this is you, you'll be working with other North America Technical Product Managers, business stakeholders, business end users, and vendors to implement, enhance, and maintain the various Warehouse Control Systems used within the our client NA system of distribution centers. You and your teammates will be part of an empowered, highly capable team collaborating with other technology teams to deliver on our client's North America business priorities. You will assist with strategy development while working closely with a market leading partner to develop, configure and deliver WCS capabilities. You should have a demonstrable history of warehouse control ownership, business and technical competence, partnering with engineering, architecture, supply chain and vendor team members alike. Key deliverables include building and delivering on the warehouse control roadmap, supporting vendor code deliveries and performing configuration and testing. This is a full lifecycle role.

What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or Engineering
- Professional experience in WCS implementations and support in a distribution center environment
- WCS integration to Warehouse Management Systems and conveyor technologies
- Beumer, Wynright, Tech King Operations, Intelligrated, SDI, or Crisplant WCS and sortation systems experience a plus
- Project management, including defining project priorities and scheduling project deadlines
- Be a Product advocate; can describe the Product, its value, how it works, how it is adopted, speak to upcoming changes and tailor the information to the audience
- Understand the Product Roadmap and use knowledge of future features to improve current stories
- Identify, advance and remove roadblocks, triage defects, and provide clarity from customers on issues
- Work directly with customers and team members to capture details of Feature requirements, understand use cases, collect samples, and find tests
- Write and refine stories for clarity, business value, and acceptance criteria with guidance from Product Management
- Conduct feature mapping, gap analysis, data flow to help assess business implications of feature, tool, or platform
- Conduct analysis to determine how features are performing, level of customer satisfaction, and provide suggestions for improvements
- Highlight risks, bring up impacts and assist in analyzing possible solutions for complex issues
- Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
- Excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others

Duties:
Develops vision, objectives and strategy for a Technology product or program. Ensures all are aligned with business strategies and budget. Establishes and maintains cross-functional coordination. Maintains ultimate responsibility regarding program objectives operating within financial and resource constraints. Manages project dependencies within the product/program and builds the team. Ensures relationships, performance, and communications are well managed. Ensures proper Project Management staffing for all projects within the product/ program; helps develop objectives and scope. Acts as an escalation point for issues that impact the product/programs cost, schedule, and/or performance.
