Sr. Technology Manager - Architecture Operation
(This role is hybrid, 3 days in office & 2 days remote. The person needs to be located or willing to relocate to Seattle.)

About this team
The Global Architecture group at lululemon is responsible for driving technical strategies, innovation, architecture, and data that support every aspect of our rapidly scaling global business. You will work in a matrixed environment alongside peers in business, product, engineering, program, -among other disciplines -to collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading strategic technology and architecture solutions aligned to business goals and objectives. In addition to your primary team, project, or portfolio you will be supported by a diverse Architecture Community, which provides learning and governance resources to all architects and will help you build a strong and robust practice of leadership grounded in technical proficiency, innovative thinking and empathy.
A day in the life:
It's exciting times at lululemon and we are having a great time delivering value to our guests throughout all of our channels. As the Sr. Technology Manager - Architecture Operations, you will lead Global Architecture Operations team and foster a broader vibrant architect community. You will collaborate with our architects for lululemon's future state architecture, technology standards, and business capability maps. You will partner with leaders in Business, Product, Engineering, Program, Architecture, to manage our Multi-Year Technology strategic roadmaps. You will oversee a team and play a leadership role within Global Architecture and influence in broader organizations.

  • Define and optimize the Global Architecture Function's Intake and Operations process
  • Lead Architect Community of Practice and Architecture Review Boards
  • Create easy-to-use repository and Publish architecture and technology current and future state architecture, best practices, standards to drive architecture maturity
  • Own the business capability, application/APM, technology components mapping and tools
  • Mature tools and processes of tracking near future technology and innovation trends in order to identify opportunities that align to lululemon's 5 and 10 year strategy
  • Work with Architects to establish and publish Future State Architecture and Technology design and roadmap
  • Partner with key stakeholders for Technology's multi-year strategic roadmap
  • Manage Global Architecture's portfolio, financials spend and accountability
  • Develop and measure Global Architecture KPIs, derive key insights, dashboards and regular communications of status and results to key stakeholders
  • Lead Architecture Operations like staffing strategy, OKRs, Planning, goals process, etc.
  • Lead creation and ensure maintenance of the architecture job families
  • Engage and develop employees
  • Foster a high-performance culture by promoting ownership and responsibility across all teams
  • Have a forward-thinking, empathy driven mindset with people and development at the forefront.
Qualifications:
  • Must have 5+ years experience in managing a technical team of at least 2 people.
  • Experience with architecture operational support with planning and program responsibilities is a plus.
  • Must have 2 + year experience managing and being accountable to a budget of at least 2 million.
  • Preferred 3+ years experience in hands on technical operational planning and support.
  • Preferred large enterprise experience in a matrixed environment.
  • Must have knowledge and/or experience with technologies applied to enterprises at global scale.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with technology including Engineers and Architects.
  • Experience in working with business and technology executives: Translating business needs into prioritized technology.
  • Consistent record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve bold goals
  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology.
  • Experience with PMP, TOGAF, Scrum preferred.
  • Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others

Compensation and Benefits Package:
For Applicants: lululemon's compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is $166,200-$218,200 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:
Hybrid in-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
