Responsibilities
- To conduct Dynamic and Static deployment tests of Seat belt and Airbag products.
- To prepare and modify test parts and fixtures.
- To analyze test samples, log post-test reports, and present results to engineers and customers as needed.
- Must have good mechanical ability, be familiar with the use of hand tools and assembly equipment and be able to read and understand test specifications developed for each product type.
- Must be able to quickly become familiar with the use of various computer applications.
Education
- 2-year Associates or Specialized Technical Degree or 5+ yrs equivalent related experience.
Experience
- 5+ years minimum experience required.
- Must have good mechanical ability and be familiar with the use of hand tools and testing equipment.
- Must be able to read and comprehend test specifications.
- Must be able to quickly become familiar with the use of various computer applications.
- Must have good communication skills with other technicians, engineers, and supervision.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize to ensure test completion dates are met.
