We are adding a Technical Analyst, Oracle EBS Suite (Finance and Procurement) to our team in Muscatine, IA!
The Technical Analyst is responsible for the technical design, documentation, and delivery of HNI’s technical solution using Oracle Applications 12.2.10 and related technologies in the area of Financial modules and Oracle cloud Procurement and Finance modules.
This role involves:

  • Analyzing, configuring, and resolving software problems.
  • Interacting with network services, application administration, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
  • Utilizing one-on-one consultancy to end users.
  • Independent analysis, communication, and problem solving.
  • Simulating or recreating customer problems to resolve operating difficulties.
  • Recommending systems modifications to reduce customer problems.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare & provide technical design documentation using Oracle Application functionalities / Constructs available using related Technologies such as Workflow, Business events, PL/SQL, customizable hooks or personalization etc.
  • Review Code to ensure it follows HNI Standards and meets performance expectations.
  • Work with development team (onsite and offshore) to ensure timely Design & code delivery
  • Review and approve Technical Object design & Testing results.
  • Provide second and third-tier support for production issues.
  • Diagnose and repair problems via email, phone or in person at the user’s station
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Escalating and monitoring issues when dealing with external vendors
  • Software / applications installation, repair, deployment
  • Take ownership of escalated support issues and find resolution to problems
  • Evaluate functionality of technology and systems. Recommend upgrading of appropriate systems and equipment as needed
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to business partner groups
  • Ability to work “on call” as required
  • Participate in approved projects as required by IT discipline
  • Provides technical support and maintenance in activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems. Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up
  • Resolve and assist executive IT support incidents or service requests
  • Ability to document and update standard work
  • Provide technical mentoring and coaching to team members

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 6 years of design and development experience in Oracle application R12 module(s) such Accounts Receivables, Accounts payables, Payments, Purchasing, General Ledger, Cash Management.
  • Minimum 8 years of hands on development experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflows and Oracle Application Framework development.
  • Hands-on Experience in Oracle Configure to Order Process preferred.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle SOA is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Functional Knowledge of EBS Finance and procurement related modules
