Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. As a Power BI Developer, you will create and maintain Power BI reports and/or dashboards per business requirements. Experience in data modeling, data transformation, DAX expressions, and analytics will be crucial in providing accurate and impactful reporting solutions. Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop visually compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into technical and design requirements.
- Design and implement data models and data transformations to optimize data for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Desired Skills:
- Fluent in math, statistics, analytics, data modeling, DAX expressions, Power Query, and Power BI Desktop
- One (1) or more years of demonstrable experience as a Power BI developer.
- In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, Power Query, and Power BI Desktop.
- Familiar with SQL queries, MS Access, OBIEE
- Good understanding of UI/UX best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements:
An associate degree in Math or Statistics. A Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields is a plus.
