Sr Lifecycle Acquisition Management Support
Overall Assignment Description:
Provide technical and management support to TF engineering and planning efforts.
Serves as a member of the IPT teams that provides strategic and operational studies, program and system planning, architecture engineering/design, and conduct development test and transition.
Duties include:
Specific tasks:
-Engineering Support:
Develop and maintain the architecture and implementation plans.
Support development of TF office visions, studies, pilots, and prototypes.
Provides technical advice on:
Existing and planned programs; functions and services.
Existing and planned research and prototype efforts; functions and services.
Existing and emerging geospatial technologies.
Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) design principles and SOA processes.
Develop and maintain detailed architectures and plans to include:
Data Synchronization (DS).
Data Migration (DM).
Unstructured Information Management (UIM).
Relational Data Management (RDM).
Map Data Administration (MDA).
Feature Data Management (FDM).
Knowledge Management and Mining (KMM).
Coordination, Meetings and Program Management Support
Provides a view of the TF office data holdings and service connections.
Provides a Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
Prepares for and participates in TEM’s:
Perform technical assessments.
Prepare functional and service views.
Prepare briefings and white papers.
Provides inputs to Implementation Plans.
Participates in program acquisition process (source selection advisor, document preparation).
Skills and Experience:
Required:
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related scientific or technical discipline.
Demonstrated experience in direct support to acquisition projects.
(U) Desired:
Familiar with NGA acquisition planning processes.
Understand SOA.
Familiar with IC Cloud based network/architecture functionality.
Understand the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the IC.
Understand geospatial data and products.
Understand geospatial production and exploitation systems.
Familiar with emerging geospatial technologies and standards.
Familiar with data-centric architectures as well data and semantic modeling.
