About this role
Manages the execution of Quality Assurance objectives. Provide leadership and supervision to a team of entry to intermediate level Quality Assurance professionals. Sets day-to-day objectives for the achievement of immediate Quality Assurance goals and supervises completion. Provides planning support to improve Quality Clinic metrics and rating.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise diverse team of hourly Quality associates including quality technicians, auditors and inspectors. Ensuring daily priorities and objectives are met.
- Ensure all safety, training and development goals are achieved for the Quality Clinic staff.
- Owner of Quality Clinic processes and metrics: Incoming Inspection, NC- Material Processing, Layered process Auditing and Turn back management.
- Drive Carrier Excellence mindset throughout the Quality Clinic staff: 5S, Kaizen, RRCA, and Standard work
- Provide support for Quality Engineering team, including investigation and containment activities
- Provide Daily guidance to Quality and Operations teams on status of investigations and result of inspections.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 3+ years of manufacturing and/or automotive experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- In lieu of degree 10 years of manufacturing experience
- 2+ Years of Quality experience required; Automotive or Manufacturing
- Quality Engineering or similar certification, ASQ or equivalent
- Lean/Six Sigma Yellow belt or higher
- Must have knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills are a must, i.e. 8D, A3 utilization
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI)
- Team building skills and project leadership experience
