Position:Senior Supervisor, GMP Training
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises the GMP Training team.
  • Builds collaborative relationships in the organization by forming cross-functional training project teams that foster an environment for ongoing training improvement.
  • Collaborates with Global departments as the site lead to relay local requirements during standardization of process and system implementations or enhancements.
  • Conducts training needs assessments and develops training project plans.
  • Develop and/or partner cross functionally to develop training solutions which aim to improve end users experience or to improve performance.
  • Accountable for management and oversight of site-specific training management procedures and processes.
  • Develop and/or partner cross functionally in the creation of web-based training content such as eLearning, microlearning, and video training, etc.
  • Interviewing, hiring and writing of performance reviews, development of employee development plans, and oversight of functional area to assure the adequate staffing.
  • Coaches and mentor subordinates in the areas of training, disciplinary action, problem-solving, and professional growth.
  • Responsible for communicating and monitoring risks related to training KPIs or system.
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Five years of relevant work experience required, preferably in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Two years of leadership experience including direct reports preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
  • Extensive experience in providing knowledge of GMP guidance and regulations, particularly those pertaining to GMP training, personnel, and documentation practices.
  • Experience with establishing training processes for the site quality Good "x" Practices (GxP) systems supporting document management and the learning management system.
  • Extensive experience providing a training perspective and managing the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training.
  • Experience working on a global cross-functional team to establish global training processes and electronic technology solutions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of eLearning software and tools (For example Adobe programs, articulate 360, Captivate, Personify, etc.).
  • Advanced Experience communicating appropriately with regulatory agencies.
  • Requires supervisory and people-management skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving, critical-reasoning, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong customer focus, both internally and externally and must be able to maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated negotiating and interaction skills in internal and external cross-functional teams.

Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a typical office environment, with standard office equipment available and used.
  • Work is generally performed seated but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
  • Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no abnormal conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
