The Position
Come join Organon as we continue to expand access to our medical device throughout the US and the world. To enable this and future growth, we are adding an events specialist to provide support for MedTechMedical Education programs. The Medical Education team focuses on creating educational programs and resources for health care professionals (HCPs) to advance their product and procedural knowledge. The Event Specialist, under minimal supervision, maintains processes integral to the development, execution, and follow-up of successful educational programs and events.

The role is a remote position. The role will report to the Director, Medical Education for MedTech but will also work collaboratively both internally and externally. The position will require up to 10-15% travel and will include working at times during morning and evening hours to facilitate programming.

The Position

The Medical Education team focuses on creating educational programs and resources for health care professionals (HCPs) to advance their product and procedural knowledge. The Event Specialist, under minimal supervision, maintains processes integral to the development, execution, and follow-up of successful educational programs and events.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day planning and execution of Medical Education events, working closely with the AD, Medical Education and logistical support vendors.
- Serves as primary contact for event logistics for both US MedTech Sales and the HCP speakers bureau, ensuring both groups well supported to enable successful educational programs.
- Develop, maintain, and execute event communication templates including, save-the-dates, invitations, and post-event reporting.
- Ensures completion of all transfer of value reporting for events.
- Understands relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adheres to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
- Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- BA/BS degree.
- Three to five years of experience managing complex programs.
- Strong collaboration skills and eagerness to learn and own new skills.
- High level of customer service.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- High level of ownership and accountability for programs.
- Proven ability to drive results while demonstrating the highest standards of ethics & integrity.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Proven skill managing event logistics, ideally for Medical Education.
- Experience supporting senior leadership and healthcare practitioners.
- Understanding of compliance rules and regulations for Medical Educational programming conducted by industry.
- Project Management certification.
- Experience with MedTech/med device.
