As a Senior Sourcing Analyst, you will primarily be working with members of BCG's Global Procurement function to support strategic objectives, leveraging your strong analytics knowledge & experience.
- Performing cost analysis and data modelling in the IT sourcing area (may cover any IT categories including software/SaaS, cloud, hardware, mobile/telecom, data and managed services)
- Generating insights using analytics tools such as: MS Excel, MS BI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
- Conducting market research, contract compliance reviews and ad-hoc problem solving
- Supporting the IT sourcing team in creating a multi-year plan on an ongoing basis
- Increase spend under Procurement's management by leading a structure analysis of tail spend
- Managing the IT sourcing projects through the intake process and tools, communicating with key-stakeholders
- Managing and supporting the IT sourcing team in reporting savings in compliance with the savings definition methodology
- Preparing and managing Requests for Information (RFI) / Requests for Proposals (RFQ)
- Preparing and delivering presentation materials (e.g. slides, reports) for stakeholder communication and meetings
- Making recommendations to stakeholders through presentations with advanced PowerPoint skills
- Lead regular analytics reporting and dashboarding for Procurement function
- Ensure high quality of procurement master data
- Coordinating with Accounts payable, Finance, IT and other functions for bringing new insights for spend analytics and insights
- Support various procurement transformation efforts and bring continuous improvements by providing relevant data analytics and insights
- Working with staff and executives to develop and implement improved processes and methods

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- University degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering (or other related degree programs)
- 5+ years of experience analysing data in sourcing, procurement operations, procurement consulting, or business systems environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting IT categories
- In-depth knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools like Altyrex, Tableau, MS BI etc
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global organization with minimum supervision

- Proficiency in Purchase-to-pay tools (e.g. Coupa, Ariba, Emptoris, Oracle), Coupa experience is preferred
- Able to juggle multiple initiatives and short- and long-term priorities
- Ability to work independently, keeping others informed as necessary
- Ability to multi-task on different projects under tight time frames
- Strong integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Extremely organized with attention to detail
- Experience with Agile ways of working processes a plus
