Senior Software Engineer

Alianza is on a mission to be the world’s best cloud-based telecommunications platform for
service providers. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build innovative
solutions. You’ll write well designed, testable, and efficient code, debug and troubleshoot
existing code, and promote sustainable engineering practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical Skills
  1. 5+ years of Software Engineering experience in Java-based programming (or equivalent)
  2. Strong Java skills using JDK11 (Lambdas, Collections, GC Optimizations, Threading)
  3. Experience in application architecture and design
  4. Mastery in writing database-driven web services with REST-based services i.e, JAX-RS
  5. Mastery in writing event/messaging services
  6. Experience building and migrating to Microservices
  7. Experience with Inversion of Control (IOC) frameworks like Dropwizard.io, Spring Boot
  8. Experience with IaaS and PaaS – Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred
  9. Experience with Git and Github
  10. Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
