Pay Range: Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow engineering best practices to develop high quality products in a committed team
- Design, deploy and maintain VoIP based platforms in a cloud environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architecture and technical solutions for Real time Communication platforms
- Configure and optimize SIP proxies and media services for high availability and QoS
- Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot issues related to SIP signaling, media transport and WebSocket communication.
- Work with AWS services - EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, ELB, IAM, DynamoDB, Kinesis, CloudWatch, etc.
- Contribute towards automation efforts of infrastructure & platforms.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Create and maintain design documentation, configuration, procedures and best practices.
- Follow stringent security protocols into code development and safeguard against potential vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
- Use of agile and rapid application development processes to speed engineering efforts
- Follow engineering best practices in a team environment to develop high-quality, multi-threaded applications, including writing automated unit, component and feature level testing.
- Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture and the development of product features.
Education
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Computer Science or a related area or equivalent work experience
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols & troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of VoIP Platforms such as Kamailio & RTPengine
- Strong understanding of Linux Operating systems
- Experience with containerization technologies such as docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes / Amazon EKS
- Familiarity with IaC & Configuration Management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer
- Git, GitHub & GitHub Actions.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (python, bash)
