Minimum Job Requirements:
- 7+ years originating SBA 7a loans with consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of credit and ability to structure deals.
- Strong relationship development skills with the ability to drive revenue by curating products and services to address a customer needs.
- Deep COI relationships including Broker Relationships in the bank’s geographic footprint.
- Strong SBA 7a and 504 product, SOP, and agency program knowledge.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance.
- Ability to originate deposit products and cross sell.
Specific Job Functions:
- Originate SBA related government guaranteed loans.
- Form deep market relationships with customers, intermediaries, and COI’s.
- Source, negotiate and manage broker relationships.
- Source, negotiate and manage the entire lifecycle of credit originations.
- Participate in process and procedural improvements to better the customer experience.
- Deep knowledge of SBA Lender Program (SOP) requirements.
- Work with Portfolio Management department to quarterback any credit or portfolio related complexities throughout lifecycle of life of loan.
- Work with internal support team, Branch and Deposit Operations to set up all required depository accounts for customers of the bank.
- Perform research on new channel partners, ecosystems, and other potential new avenues of commercial loan growth.
- Ensure bank compliance with SBA and Regulatory authorities including working with various bank auditors as necessary.
- Proactive in identifying and open to taking on new projects that drive growth, efficiency and ROI for the group and bank.
- Other duties as assigned by bank senior management.
