Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive with a strong background in digital marketing sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling SEO, website development, paid media, and paid search solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and closing deals that contribute to our agency's success.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the digital marketing space, focusing on SEO, websites, paid media, and paid search.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target industries.
- Understand client needs and tailor digital marketing solutions that meet their objectives and budget.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with the project management teams to ensure that sold projects are delivered effectively and meet client expectations.
- Provide insightful feedback from clients to the product and service development teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and digital marketing innovations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in the digital marketing industry, with a strong focus on SEO, websites, paid media, and paid search.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Commission Structure Overview
- Base Salary: $4,000 per month (USD).
- Commission Rate: Standard: 15% on all sales.
- Enhanced: 20% if the previous month's sales exceeded $50k; reverts to 15% if not maintained.
- Recurring Sales Commission: First Month: 100% contribution towards commission thresholds.
- Subsequent Months: 50% contribution towards commission thresholds.
Commission Calculation ExamplesExample 1: High Sales Volume
- Sales in April: Total: $55,000 ($20,000 project, $35,000 recurring).
- Commission: 20% of $55,000 = $11,000.
Example 2: Lower Sales Volume Following High Sales Month
- Sales in May: Total: $45,000 ($10,000 new project, $35,000 recurring from April, with recurring sales counting as half).
- Commission Calculation: New Project: $10,000 at 15% = $1,500.
- Recurring Sales: $35,000 / 2 at 15% = $2,625.
- Total Commission: $1,500 + $2,625 = $4,125.
