We are responsible for fleet-wide pricing, revenue planning and inventory control and seeking an experienced and energetic individual. The main responsibilities of this role are data preparation, reporting and visualization support for revenue driven decision making. We serve as subject matter experts on where data is stored and how it is shared with Revenue Management, Finance, and other partners. The ideal candidate will display strong analytics skills, automation knowledge, independent thinking, and curiosity.
What You Will Do:
Support a robust automated data management process that creates data sources and reports used across Disney Cruise Line Revenue Management, Finance, and operational partners
Develop and transform large data sets into tools and reports that tell a clear story and drive decisions based on business needs and consumer requirements
Liaison between Technology and data consumers about data development and technology updates and processes
Partner with various groups (including Digital, Marketing, CIMA and Res) to tackle data challenges and answer questions
Manage permissions and structure to the Tableau Reporting infrastructure
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Proficiency in Excel and VBA
Project experience with scripting and git version control (Python preferred)
Experience with SQL, relational databases and Tableau or demonstrated ability to master quickly
Motivation and eye for detail, with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
Ability to act as an internal consultant, collaborating with a range of partners
Proven creativity in solving sophisticated data analysis problems
Solid sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering high-speed, high-quality results
Ability to balance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a sense of humor
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Demonstrated success acting as a technical product manager or technical consultant
Revenue Management, Pricing, or Cruise Industry experience
Experience working with Seaware or other inventory control system
Desire and excitement to research and integrate innovative technology and processes
Experience with Python
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Business, CS, Math, Economics, or other field with a heavy quantitative component
