Job Description
The Sr. Recruiter is directly responsible for the marketing, recruiting, and hiring function for assigned location(s), including new start-up cities, seasonal hiring, troubled cities, and special needs determined by the HR team. The primary focus is overseeing and conducting Career fairs, Applicant screening, Compliance screening, and drug testing.
What does a Sr. Recruiter do?
- Treat all information as confidential
- Ability to effectively deal with all levels of applicants, employees, management, and clients
- Meet requirements to complete pre-employment screening and obtain a security-sensitive identification badge
- Post all internal and external positions at the direction of HR and Recruitment Management
- Work with the Regional Recruitment Manager when career fairs are needed to determine the best course of action and expense control
- Maintain the open positions reports and establish recruiting plans for cities needing assistance in the hiring process
- Provide direction for recruiting efforts within the company; utilize a broad range of recruitment sources to meet staffing and EEO/Affirmative Action requirements
- Advise location managers and senior-level managers in employee retention efforts
- Ability to strategically plan and forecast recruiting needs
- Ability to lead new hire start-ups
- Looked at to mentor and develop recruiters
- Collect, analyze, and report recruiting data as needed
- Be able to communicate with all levels of management and provide guidance regarding hiring needs
- Other duties as assigned
What skills are required to Join the Team?
- Must be 18 or older
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of recruiting or a combination of education and experience
- Experience should include overseeing and coordinating mass hiring events and screening from entry-level to senior-level positions
- Ability to Travel 50% or more with immediate or limited notice, which may include extended overnight stay
- Proven track record of building positive relationships with managers across multiple locations
- Ability to demonstrate high-level customer service skills and client relations
- Advanced communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience with multiple ATS Systems
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience in high-volume, full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a reliable telephone number for contact
- Must have reliable transportation
Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
- Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
